MITA's 5 Step Training

1

The first step our requirement is perfecting each player's fundamentals. Not mastering a player's fundamentals will put a stop on their development so to speak "Feeling Stuck." - Not able to beat players that are better than or struggling to beat players that a player should beat. You cannot work on match strategy when you don't have the tools. Privates are required for this.

3

The third step we help players convert everything they learn in their privates into their match play by placing each player into our Conversion Training. If the player is more advanced, we sign them up for privates and our Conversion Training at the same time immediately.

At this step we will shift our focus towards fitness and nutrition. At this stage our players have mastered their fundamentals, understood match play and strengthened their mental toughness that is required in this sport. Fitness and nutrition will be key for our player to have a chance at the top tier level of play.

2

The second step that we require is mastering ball control short court. A lot of players move on from short court without truly mastering their consistency. This will help them become more consistent rallying full court. We use pressure strategies to help players minimize unforced errors (Spanish Drills)

Privates & Conversion Training

The fourth step we start focusing on their mental training by implementing responsibilities. We use unique strategies to help our players become more independent which will help them perform better at competitions. We also focus on our players and parents' communication style which is crucial for success.
